Reconcile retrieved files against the source manifest
Compares what landed in the working location against the retrieval checklist and logs each item as present, empty, or unavailable.
In / outRetrieval checklist + working location contents → reconciled manifest (item status: present / empty / unavailable, notes)
You might say…
“We hit the completeness review and realised one source had never actually been pulled — this catch would have saved us a day.”
What it does
After retrieval, compare what landed in the working location against the planned retrieval checklist and confirm each agreed source is accounted for (present, empty, or unavailable). Used as the closing step of the pull, producing a tidy inventory that hands off cleanly to the completeness review. Judgement call on whether an item is 'pulled' vs partial.
Trigger: Use immediately after completing the retrieval pass, before handing off to the completeness review.
