Deliver the path-forward decision to the client

Drafts the communication to the client conveying the escalation or exit decision — framing the situation professionally, stating the decision clearly, and (where applicable) offering a path forward.

In / outPath decision (escalate / exit / modified scope) + rationale + client context → client communication draft conveying the decision and next steps

You might say…

We've decided we can't do this engagement as-is and now I have to tell the client — without it feeling like we're abandoning them or that we missed something in the sale.

What it does

Single-judgement skill: takes the chosen path and drafts how to land it with the client — handing back to a commercial re-scope conversation, proposing the custom variant, or declining gracefully with a referral where appropriate. Decides framing so a decline preserves the relationship and a re-scope sets up the next conversation rather than souring it. Used immediately after the path is chosen; the operator reviews before sending given the commercial and reputational stakes.

Trigger: Use when an escalation or exit decision has been reached and must be communicated to the client in a way that is clear, professional, and preserves the relationship.

The primitives are the commodity part. The fastest next step is a conversation about composing them into something that works for you.
