Distil the real problem from the conversation account

Reads conversation notes or a transcript and identifies where the stated ask diverges from the underlying problem, what is conspicuously absent, and what the real question appears to be.

In / outFirst-call notes or transcript → working problem statement: stated ask, underlying problem, key absence, real question

You might say…

The call was about the CFO. The transcript told me the real problem was the founder's inability to let go of financial control.

What it does

Given notes or a transcript of the first conversation, identifies where the stated ask and the underlying problem diverge, what is conspicuously absent from the client's account, and what the real question seems to be. Used immediately after the call to convert raw listening into a working problem statement.

Trigger: Use immediately after the first conversation to convert raw notes into a working problem statement before the impression fades.

Recognise the problem?

The primitives are the commodity part. The fastest next step is a conversation about composing them into something that works for you.
