You might say…
“The editor could see exactly what I'd acted on and why I'd declined the rest — that's what made the round feel collaborative rather than combative.”
What it does
Single-judgement skill: works through the agreed revision plan item by item, producing the actual text changes for each accepted note and maintaining a running record of what has been addressed, what is deferred, and what was declined with the author's reasoning — so the response back to the editor is traceable. The author approves each change. Used during the iterative revision cycle after feedback is triaged.
Trigger: Use during the iterative revision cycle after feedback is triaged and a plan is agreed.
