Surface the candidate through-line from accumulated captures
Reads across a body of accumulated notes and captures to propose the recurring pattern or tension and a first unpolished thesis statement.
In / outBody of notes, readings, and observations → candidate through-line with recurring pattern/tension and draft thesis statement
You might say…
“I have 80 notes and I can feel there's something connecting them — I just can't see it yet.”
What it does
Single-judgement skill: the scholar points it at a body of already-captured notes, readings, and observations; it reads across them and proposes the pattern or tension that recurs, the claim the evidence collectively supports or resists, and a first unpolished thesis statement. Used at the start of a synthesis session, with the human in the loop to accept, redirect, or reframe the surfaced through-line.
Trigger: Use at the start of a synthesis session when the knowledge base is rich but no single claim has crystallised yet.
