Identify what is unknown before diagnosing
Packaged know-how that tells an agent how to do a job well.
You might say…
“I nearly gave them an answer based on numbers that were six months old. I needed to know what I didn't know first.”
What it does
Audits the framed problem for information gaps — what the client has not said, stale data, and load-bearing unverified assumptions — and recommends the few questions worth asking.
Trigger: Use when the brief feels thin or the situation is unfamiliar, before committing to a diagnosis built on incomplete information.
I/O: Problem frame, available context → gap audit (unknown knowns list + priority clarifying questions)
