One team, holding the whole chain
Most delivery splits the work across roles that don’t share a brain. We don’t. Strategy, product, project management, engineering, and design collapse into a single accountable practice — leveraged by AI so one team can hold the whole chain end to end.
Every handoff is a translation, and every translation loses something
Traditional delivery hands strategy to a PM, to a project manager, to engineers, to designers — and back again. Specs drift. Intent flattens into tickets. Feedback loops stretch to weeks. Most of the cost and most of the failure live in the seams between roles, not in the roles themselves.
At Tippt those roles are one.Two consequences fall out of that. We iterate faster — the person who understood the problem is the person shipping the fix, with no re-briefing and no waiting on another function’s queue. And we don’t inherit the structural failure modes — spec drift, lost-in-translation requirements, “that’s not what I asked for.” Remove the handoffs and you don’t fix those problems, you never have them.
We model the system before we reach for a tool
We’re systems thinkers. Faced with a problem, we don’t start from the fashionable default — we decompose it, map how its parts actually relate, and only then choose the approach that fits that structure. Decomposition is the discipline that lets one team hold the whole chain: break a system into the right parts and the parts become tractable.
It changes the technical choices we make. Where another firm reaches for whatever pattern is in vogue, we pick the one the structure asks for — a knowledge graph over naïve retrieval when the relationships are the problem, for instance. Not the convenient tool. The matched one.
We don’t start from a blank page
We’ve invested in two assets that let us move fast and land on the right answer. A taxonomy of business shapes — the recurring patterns in how organisations are structured and where they actually break, so new clients are classified against known shapes rather than diagnosed from zero. And a platform of solution shapes — proven patterns we combine and customise for a given use case.
Engagements become selection and adaptationof known-good shapes, not bespoke invention. That’s why we can prototype rapidly without sacrificing fit.
